I really believe in my heart that many Christians really don’t know what truth is…

Truth reveals who you really are. Where God comes to you and shows you where you have compromised and how he feels about it…Things like Selfishness, Fear, Doubt, Lust in all forms, hate, murdering and killing, addictions, defiling your body and mind, Etc…

I know about it first hand. God came to me as a Christian singing songs like: “I want to know You more” He answered me by coming close to me. The Judge of the universe came to me and showed me my sins. I was terrified..Why? Because I liked sin, and wanted to keep sinning…

If you are afraid of your sin being exposed then you won’t like to come close to God. You then are a pretender. A liar, and don’t want the light to expose you!

John 3:19-21 New International Version (NIV)
19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God

When God shows these things, the best thing for you to do is to fall on the sword and accept it and ask God to forgive you and help you do better…and then you start doing better and won’t sweep it under the carpet because God will come again and test you…If you again start sinning, then you are beginning to become a friend of the world and want to keep on sinning. God is a God of love, but he is also a fire…

Jump in the Fire!

What happens when fire touches something consumable? It burns it up…Are you going to continue to hold on to your sin and pleasures in your life that have no meaning or will you give them up for the real riches of God’s truth?

Accept what God shows to you about you and then you can be free. Many Christians would rather be a friend of darkness than light. How can a Christian live in truth when they have sin hidden in their heart? They can’t…

James 4:4 – You are like an unfaithful wife who loves her husband’s enemies. Don’t you realize that making friends with God’s enemies—the evil pleasures of this world—makes you an enemy of God? I say it again, that if your aim is to enjoy the evil pleasure of the unsaved world, you cannot also be a friend of God.

Truth is accepting what God says about you, that you are a sinner, and cannot save yourself. Take no pride in yourself, but realize you need control. God will help if you ask…First ask God to forgive you and ask Jesus into your heart and for him help you with grace to please him in all you do. Show your faith by doing…As Faith responds to God with love.
