Kelly Husted

Kelly comes from an interesting background. He was born in North bend Oregon. Music has always been his life. He began playing the piano at age 4 and received honors playing at recitals. A few years later he learned to play violin. He soon began lessons playing the violin. At the age of ten he moved to San Jose, California.

A few years later he learned to play violin. He soon began lessons playing the violin. At the age of ten he moved to San Jose, California.

He soon became the Concert Master while in his 6th grade elementary orchestra after playing in the orchestra for only one year. Later he became mentored by the 3rd violinist of the San Jose Philharmonic Orchestra. Upon entering his teens, he soon turned his musical interests towards the guitar, which he continues to play.

He currently lives with his business partner Shadowhawk Whitford in Stockton.

Kelly became a born again Christian in 1983. He then became an active member of many of the top SF bay area Christian Pentecostal churches. While under Ron Kenoly’s leadership at Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, Ca, he began writing songs in the late 1980′s. Integrity music published one of his songs in 1991, “Keeper of my heart”.

Kelly loves God with all his heart and longs to see all people open their hearts to receive healing, blessings, and freedom in their lives. He longs for all to know that God is a God of love and acceptance. You can currently hear some of Kelly’s songs in the worship services every Sunday morning at Valley Ministries in Stockton where he is under the direction of their music director Louis Ramirez.
